18 year old youth has been charged and remanded to Luzira prison for aggravated robbery of seven bottles of Nile special beers, three bottles of Rock boom and 80, 000 shillings from a bar.

Samuel Nigokyuti charged before City hall court grade one magistrate Beatrice Kainza who did not allow him to say anything on a capital offense which attracts a maximum sentence of death upon conviction and only tried and bailable by High court.

Nigokyuti now remanded to Luzira prison until February 15th as police completes its inquires.

Prosecution states that the accused and others still at large on January 20th 2019 at Kamwokya green-valley zone while armed with a knife robbed a one Joan Katusiime of 7 Nile bears, 3 bottles of Rock boom and cash 80,000 shillings and used deadly weapon to wit a knife on the complainant.
