Man Maimed, Loses Job After Work Place Accident

Uganda today joins the rest of the world to mark the International Labor Day.
The International Labour Day is celebrated to recognize the dignity of labour and the important contribution that it makes towards the social, economic and political development of the country.
This year’s national Labor Day celebrations are to be held in Kisoro under the theme β€œJoin in building the culture of promotion of Occupation safety and health”
In our special report this morning, KFM’s Benjamin Jumbe shares the story of a man whose life has totally changed following an accident at his former work place and the status of health and safety of workers in Uganda.
