Police in Kampala have arrested 15 youth for allegedly attempting to attack   the lord mayor.

The group is said to have stormed the office of city lord mayor Erias Lukwago accusing him of not cooperating with Member of Parliament from Kampala.

Ibin Ssenkumbi the police spokesperson for Kampala Metropolitan says since Saturday they have been trailing a number of youth from Kaweempe and Bwaise who have been planning to attack the lord mayor’s office.

These are now in police custody at the Central Police Station where they await to undergo further questioning about their motive.
