Days after Maj Rolland KakoozaMutale unveiled a militia group to help ensure president Museveni retains power come 2016, the DP faction led by Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago has also formed their own.

The TJ Solida group according to Lukwago is meant to protect members of the Platform for Truth and Justice at all rallies and to ensure that this dismantle the regime in 2016.

Lukwago has also lashed out at the DP secretary General Mathias Nsubuga for instructing police to disband their rallies in Mityana and Gomba, a claim the party denies.

However, police spokesperson Fred Enanga says Lukwago and his pressure group have already been banned and cannot hold any rally since they are using symbols and a motto that belong to an existing party.
