Kampala Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago has been arrested.
Lukwago was arrested at the Taxi Park a short while ago.
He had reportedly gone to assess the situation at the park, following an operation by Kampala Capital City Authority to collect the 120,000 monthly dues from taxi operators.
The taxi operators clashed with police, with at least 7 of them arrested yesterday.
Lukwago is currently being held at the Central Police Station.
