The Speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga says Parliament is going to formulate a law that will guide on the use and sale of acid.
During the Police centenary celebrations last month, Inspector General of Police, Gen. Kale Kayihura urged Parliament to enact a law on regulation of acid in the country given rising cases.
Kadaga says three legislators Dr. Kenneth Omona, Dr. Chris Baryomunsi and Reagan Okumu will initiate a private members’ bill to start the process.
