Over 30 buildings have been demolished by Kampala Capital City Authority in Mbuya.
The premises include shops, garages and rental houses mostly belonging to business man Hajj Damulira Muhamad.
The affected claim they were not given enough time to vacate the area which KCCA says is a road reserve.
A woman who was also affected by the demolition decided to lie in the middle of the road to be run over by cars. for cars to run over her claiming she had nothing left worth living for.

However the head of law enforcers at KCCA Kituuma Rusoke says different warnings have been sounded to these people to vacate the area with no negative response.
The demolition is still ongoing.
