Kyambogo students on strike

Students of Kyambogo University are on strike.

They are protesting the decision by the university to continue offering courses that are not sanctioned by the National council for higher education.

Recently, the National Council for Higher Education said that only 21 out of 91 courses offered by the university are not accredited.

Council listed five universities including Kyambogo, Bishop Stuart. Uganda Martyrs, Mountains of the moon, and Makerere as those that are teaching unaccredited courses.
