Kenya’s Deputy President William Ruto has scoffed at efforts by Uganda’s opposition Democratic Alliance to push for unity.
Referring to the recent retreat by alliance members neighboring Kenya with the opposition ODM, Ruto said their efforts are futile.
Speaking at the ongoing celebrations to mark Uganda’s 53rdindepence anniversary in Gulu this afternoon, Ruto also said that good politics should not be premised on ethnicitybut issues.
