The interdicted KCCA director of physical planning George Agaba has been charged with murder before the Nakawa magistrate’s court.
Agaba now faces trial together with his bodyguard Santos Komakech over a KCCA eviction exercise in Luzira, which turned bloody, leaving at least one person dead.
Agaba was first released on police bond, leading to a public outcry and re-arrested this week.
State prosecutor Joseph Baige told court that investigations into the matter are still ongoing.
He appeared before Grade One Magistrate Gladys Kamasanyu who remanded him to Luzira prison until 8th Feb, when the case comes up for mention.
Agaba has been interdicted and replaced by Joseph Semambo as the Acting Director Physical Planning KCCA.
