In results from the Azam Uganda Premier League, KCCA FC beat Bright stars FC 2-1.

Geoffrey Sserunkuma from KCCA scored the first goal in the 15th minute after the team was given a penalty.

Later, Bright stars’ Victor Aweko equalized in the 28th minute.

Innocent Asiimwe from Bright Stars scored an own goal in the second half -making it 2 goals for KCCA.

Although Bright stars coach Fred Kajoba is impressed by his team’s performance, he has blamed the loss on the poor refereeing and insufficient funds to cater for the training services and delayed salaries for the players.

However, Mike Mutebi, KCCA FC coach says the referee was fair.

Meanwhile, in the other games URA beat BUL FC, 2-1, while the Vipers and Sadolin FC game ended in a goalless draw.
