Sema-Uganda, a social enterprise headquartered in the Netherlands, says it has secured another one-year contract to gather and analyse public perception of Kampala Capital City Authority services.
While presenting the Office of the Year award to KCCA health department yesterday, Lydia Matte the country manager Sema- Uganda, said last month, in addition to the six clinics during which they collected and analysed public perceptions on their quality of services last year, KCCA has added them its Headquarters, Makindye and Kawempe division headquarters to collect public perceptions on the quality of administrative services and their recommendations to KCCA to improve them.
Asked how they zeroed on the KCCA health department as the office of the year, she explained that since 2018, they have engaged and installed feedback machines in government institutions like Police, NIRA, URSB, Immigration, Judiciary, the Financial Intelligence Authority, and the district local governments of Mukono and Jinja.
Last year, KCCA paid them Shs.18million to collect feedback from its six health centres and this year, with the addition of the headquarters and two division headquarters, KCCA paid Shs.28 million for the exercise.
