Kampala Capital City Authority has suspended the yellow fever vaccination due shortage of the vaccine.
The authority’s deputy spokesperson Robert Kalumba says their clinic has run out of the vaccine.
He says the procurement of more vaccines has been hampered by a row between KCCA and the national Medical Stores over the fees charged for vaccination.
KCCA has been charging Shs 100,000 for the Yellow fever vaccine, which drew fierce criticism that says it only charges Shs 16,000 per dose.
