Kampala Capital City Authority leadership is currently locked up in a meeting to discuss the demolition of Nabagereka Primary School located in Kisenyi.
Court bailiffs this morning demolished the school which has been on the land leased off by the Uganda Land Commission to city tycoon Bosco Muwonge.
KCCA spokesperson Peter Kauju says the demolition took them by surprise since the education ministry and the solicitor general had assured them that the school would stay.
Kauju says they are now laying strategies on how to distribute the displaced pupils and teachers in other schools.
