KCCA now know who stands between them and a spot in the knockout stages of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The reigning league champions have been placed in in Group A alongside Club Africane of Tunisia, River United of Nigeria and FUR Rabat of Morocco.
The kasasiro boys play their first match away in Morocco against FUB Rabat between 12th-14th May.
FUS Rabat is best remembered by Villa fans after the Moroccans hammered their team 7-0 away after winning 1-0 in Uganda.
Each of the clubs that have reached the group stages are already guaranteed a minimum reward of US$550 000 (1.980,000,000 Ugshs)
SuperSport were drawn against Horoya AC, CF Mounana and TP Mazembe in group D at today’s draw in Cairo, meaning trips to Guinea, Gabon and the Democratic Republic of Congo over the next few months, while Stars are off to Algeria, Swaziland and Tunisia to face MC Alger, Mbabane Swallows and CS Sfaxien.
This is the first time that CAF have had four groups in this stage of the tournament after a reshuffling of the format and Mamelodi Sundowns are also in the last 16 of the CAF Champions League as they look to defend the title that they won last year.
