The family of the baby that was run over by a Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) vehicle has now turned to court for redress.
The deceased’s father Juma Basena says they have failed to agree with the city authority on the issue of compensation hence the decision to opt for court.
Basena says they are working with their lawyer John Kiyingi to have the matter finalized in court.
When contacted, KCCA Deputy Spokesperson Robert Kalumba was hesitant to comment on the matter saying negotiations are still on going.
Two year-old Ryan Semaganda was run over in November by a KCCA vehicle as he wandered to trace his mother who was appearing in court for street vending.
