Just a day after the ministry of health declared a Typhoid outbreak in Kampala, the city authority has swung into action n closing Arirang Korean Restaurant over filth.
According to KCCA health officials, the facility located in Kampala’s upmarket Nakasero suburbs has been closed due to poor hygiene and sanitation and unsafe way of food handling.
The Kampala Capital City Authority Deputy Spokesperson Robert Kalumba tells KFM that the restaurant was found selling rotten chicken and other food stuffs.
The move comes just a day after the ministry of health confirmed a Typhoid outbreak in Kampala, Mukono and Wakiso districts.
