KCC FC defeats Mtende 3-0 in Mapinduzi cup
Uganda’s representatives at the ongoing Mapinduzi Peace Cup in Zanzibar, Kampala City Council Football Club have defeated home side, Mtende F.C 3-0 to brighten their chances of advancing to the knock out stages.
Striker Herman Wasswa opened the scoring chart for the Cup’s defending champions with a goal in the opening 45 minutes.
Partner in crime, William Wadri’s brace in the second stanza of the game played at Aman Stadium extinguished Mtende’s chance of mounting a comeback.
KCC has now fetched 4 points in 2 matches after their opening 2 all draw with Tanzanian Champions, Azam F.C.
The Ugandan champions will climax the group stages with an encounter against another Zanzibar side, KMKM.
