The number of trips Kazinda is required to make to court now is growing by the day.
The interdicted principal accountant in the office of the Prime Minister Geoffrey Kazinda is expected to return to court on 4th February.
This time for further hearing of a case in which he is accused of forging the signature of the permanent secretary Pius Bigirimana to obtain money.
He has today appeared before the Chief Magistrate David Wangututsi, just a day after the Anti –Corruption Court threw out his petition and ruled that he is to stand trial over fraud.
Prosecution led by Jane Francis Abodo produced two witnesses; the current principal accountant in the office of the prime minister Kenneth Mugumya and the Head of Human Resource Grace Nalumu, who confirmed that Kazinda was an employee of the Office of the Prime Minister.
Hearing has been adjourned to February 4th when the 3rd prosecution witness will be produced.
Kazinda faces separate charges of embezzlement, false accounting, forgery, conspiracy to commit a felony and causing financial loss amounting to Shs 316m.
