Court has set February 6th for the ruling on Geoffrey Kazinda’s the bail application.
Kazinda appeared before High Court Judge David Wangututsi this morning for hearing of his bail application.
He applied for bail on grounds of poor health and that bail is his constitutional right.
However, prosecution led by Jane Francis Abodo has objected to his application saying he is likely to interfere with witnesses.
She also cites the conflicting medical reports from Mulago and Luzira by Doctors Fredrick Nakwagala and Alex Kakoraki respectively.
The Mulago report indicates that Kazinda is fit to stand trial while the one from Luzira indicates otherwise, which she finds confusing.
The interdicted principal accountant in the office of the Prime Minister Geoffrey is alleged to have forged the signature of Pius Bigirimana the permanent secretary in Office of the Prime Minister and making documents without authority.
