Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago is yet to receive official communication on when to return office.
In December last year Prime Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda made a commitment to have Lukwago re- instated by February this year.
However Lukwago says there has been no further discussion between him and government regarding the matter.
Lukwago says even the commitment to have his salary arrears paid by the end of December was not met, which puts in doubt his return to office.
Lukwago was thrown out of office on 25th November 2013 after he was impeached by 17 Kampala Capital City Authority councilors over alleged incompetence.
