Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago and other leaders from Kampala are today set to meet to forge a way forward on their campaign against the lifting of the presidential age limit.
Last week police foiled plans by the leaders to meet and agree on a position.
Some of the political leaders were arrested while others were blocked from leaving their homes.
The leaders had planned to match to the Constitution Square to launch their campaign dubbed “Tojibikula” which is loosely translated as don’t open it- a campaign aimed at countering the proponents of the constitutional amendment to lift the age limit.
Speaking to KFM, Lukwago says they are to discuss a range of issues including the police brutality which was meted out against them.
