Kampala Central Member of Parliament Mohamed Nsereko has defended the rapid promotion of Brig. Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
He says MPs Semujju Nganda and Mohammed Kivumbi should get their facts right before criticizing the army.
Early this week, a group of MPs queried the criteria used to promote UPDF soldiers.
They cited the rise of Brig. Muhoozi Kainerugaba through the ranks to head the Special Forces Command, as well as Maj. Gen Wilson Mbadi as Joint Chief of Staff from being the president’s ADC.
Addressing the media today Nseroko said Muhoozi has proved his worth through hard work and discipline.
