The Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II has called for unity among his subjects as they strive to develop the kingdom.
While opening the 22nd Buganda Parliament also known as the Lukiiko the Kabaka expressed concern over the high levels of poverty among his subjects and called on his chiefs to address the matter urgently.
The Kabaka said that it is not enough for leaders to develop good ideas which they cannot to integrate into developmental projects that benefit his subjects.
