Court of Appeal and Constitutional Court Judge, Constance Kobusingye Byamugisha, is dead.
Her death has been confirmed by the deputy spokesperson of the Judiciary Alaali Muhirwa.
She was the Acting Deputy Chief Justice at the time of her death and is a sister to departed former First Deputy Prime Minister, Eriya Kategaya.
She is said to have succumbed to breast cancer at Nakasero Hospital this morning.
Constance was married to top Kampala lawyer, Dr Joseph Byamugisha.
The incident comes hardly a month after Kategaya passed away.
Meanwhile, Members of the legal fraternity have hailed fallen Court of Appeal Judge Constance Byamugisha whose death they describe as a huge loss.
Former Law Society President Bruce Kyerere has described her as a leader of integrity.
