If the words of skipper Andy Mwesigwa are anything to go by, then the Uganda Cranes are indeed set to face Guinea in today’s 2015 Afcon qualifier.
According to Mwesigwa, they are ready to die a little for the country in the Moroccan city of Casablanca this evening.
The Cranes are second in Group E with seven points, while Guinea has the same number of points, but with an inferior goal difference.
In-case of a draw Uganda will qualify for the 2015 Afcon on a better goal difference.
Ghana who took part in the 2014 World Cup, lead the Group with eight points and will need to beat Togo in the last Group game later today.
Meanwhile, reigning champions Nigeria will be desperate to emerge from the final round of 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying today with one of the six remaining spots for the tournament.
They go into their final match against already-qualified South Africa with their fate in their own hands after they beat Congo 2-0 on Saturday.
