Local manufacturer of cosmetic products says, that despite a small setback in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Market for cosmetics products has experienced an almost incessant demand, and it is forecast to generate revenues and expand on the regional market export.
The head of marketing and corporate affairs Robert Kitenda at Movit Products, says, the company’s products have attracted market share in 11 African markets which included Malawi, Zambia, Burundi, Congo, Rwanda Zimbabwe among others in addition to the local market.
He made the remarks while presenting a donation of essential items which included rice, sugar, and Maize flour to the Muslim community at the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council and Kibuli Mosque in Kampala to help them go through the fasting period.
He says, what is required is for the respective countries in Africa to put in place favorable trade policy that favors trade to thrive.
