President Museveni has asked the West to stop advising him on how to organize elections in Uganda, saying he is now an expert.

Speaking at the Youth Entrepreneurs’ conference at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds on Tuesday, the president also took a swipe at them regarding homosexuality.

“They had a lot of opportunities but they have been misusing them, I don’t know why. They come to tell me how to organize elections… I’m an expert on elections you can call me to help you,” Museveni said before adding “I know how to handle homosexuals, please leave me alone”.

President Museveni also advised the youth to focus on the economic aspect of life in a bid to achieve success.

“What you do should be profitable in order to be sustainable and you should start with the human needs,” Museveni said on Tuesday.
