The International Criminal Court Chief Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda is set to meet the Speaker of Parliament today.
Bensouda is in Uganda for a five day visit, intended to brief Ugandan legislators on the latest developments about the case of former Lord’s Resistance Army rebel Commander Dominic Ongwen at the ICC.
Bensouda who is expected to visit Gulu and Soroti to meet LRA victims, will also meet the President, Prime Minister, the Attorney General, Justice Minister and Director of Public Prosecutions.
She will also visit other LRA-affected African countries, including Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic, South Sudan and Kenya.
