Government is not bothered about the International Criminal Court’s (ICC) demands and will not be shaken.
The remarks come from the state minister for international affairs Okello Oryem following a letter issued by the International Criminal Court demanding an explanation from government for failure to arrest Sudan’s President Omar Al Bashir while on Ugandan territory.
In a letter written by Judge Cuno Tarfusser, the Hague-based Court wants the explanation submitted by June 24th 2016.
However, Minister Oryem tells KFM that government’s priority now is delivering on its manifesto rather than the ICC although he adds that they will respond at the right time.
Speaking during his inauguration Ceremony President Yoweri Museveni described the ICC as a bunch of useless people.
