Turyasingura was the chairperson Center for Domestic Violence Prevention before she retired into consultancy.

Musuya says Turyasingura’s death is a big blow to the women rights’ movement.
A requiem service is to be held in her honour at St Francis Chapel Makerere today at 2:00pm
The late Turyasingura will be laid to rest in Ibanda tomorrow.
