Over 100 Members of Parliament have penned their signatures on a petition seeking to return the Anti-Homosexuality law.
On Friday, the Constitution Court annulled the controversial law on grounds that it was passed in Parliament without the required quorum of a third of MPs.
However, Kawempe South MP, Latif Ssebagala, who is the initiator of the petition, says he is confident that he will get the required numbers to pass the law.
While addressing the media at Parliament today, Ssebagala and other legislators vowed to pass the bill and disregard the notion that Uganda will lose more donor funds if the bill is passed.
