The speaker of parliament has pledged to have the anti-homosexuality bill finalized in the next two weeks.
This follows a request by members of the religious and CSO coalition during a meeting with the speaker today at parliament.
The members had requested that Mps give the nation a Christmas present by passing the anti-homosexuality law.
Responding to their concerns the speaker Rebecca Kadaga said the Ugandan people has spoken and it was only right for members of parliament to respond quickly.
