Residents of Lubuga in Kibuli are counting losses after the morning down pour.
Many roofs have been blown off while a number of houses have been left flooded.
Some of the residents we spoke to attribute the flooding to blocked drainage systems.
They are now asking Kampala Capital City Authority to intervene in clearing drainages as the rainy season continues.
