A man who tested positive for HIV has committed suicide.
38 year-old Gerald Nkambwe 38 was this morning found hanging on a tree in a bush.
It is said that Nkambwe, a resident of Bugomola village in Rakai district decided to take away his life after conducting a HIV blood test and the results indicated that he was positive.
One of his neighbors identified as John Mulindwa says the deceased has been acting strange ever since he tested positive last week.
The Southern Region Police Spokesperson, Noah Sserunjoji has confirmed the incident asking members of the public to always seek counseling services from medical workers before deciding to take such decisions.
