The city tycoon Ham Kiguddu, the proposed developer of the former park yard land has defied the directive from Kampala capital city authority to remove the iron sheets he used to seal off the site.
In a city authority council last week, Ham was given 7 days to remove the iron sheets and halt all the construction from the site because the authority had not given him an eviction order vowing to send enforcement team to remove them by force.
The seven days expires today with a heavy deployment around park yard and nakivubo stadium with iron sheets still at the site.
Speaking to Kfm, the deputy lord mayor says they are waiting for a report from the technical wing particularly the legal department before taking action.
