Government says it was not aware of a visiting delegation from South Sudan.
The group from the South Sudan rebels, led by the deputy chairman, Gen. Alfred Lado Gore, was left stranded at Entebbe Airport on Monday after no government delegation received them.
The matter was raised by Kumi County MP, Patrick Amuriat, who wondered why the group was shunned yet they had come to discuss issues on peace in the war torn country.
Prime Minister, Amama Mbabazi explained that government was not aware of the arrangement however their presence was acknowledged.
