Government must invest in bulk transport
The government must take deliberate efforts to invest in bulk transport like city buses.
This is according to the executive director of the National Environment Management Authority Dr Tom Okurut.
Speaking in relation to the Impact of taxation, economic transport and health policies on sustainable development in Uganda, Okurut said this would be the only way to promote a green economy.
He says unlike taxis and boda bodas, the buses address the three aspects of sustainable development including health, safety and revenue.
