The Commander of Defence Forces Gen Katumba Wamala has asked the public to desist from speculations about changes in the army.

Early this morning Social media has been awash with news that Gen Wamala has been replaced by Maj Gen David Muhoozi.

The same reports on social media indicate that the President Museveni’s son Maj Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has been dropped as commander of the Special Forces Brigade and made Special Advisor to the president.

However Gen Wamala tells K-FM that he is not aware of the changes and the public should remain calm.
