The army says documentation to allow the autopsy on the body of Gen Aronda Nyakairima to start is complete.
According to the army spokesperson Lt Col Paddy Ankunda, investigations are now set to start tomorrow.
He says the team of government pathologists and other officials flown to Dubai has and agreed to commence investigations into the cause of death the former internal affairs minister.
The team comprises four doctors, two police experts and two family members.
Ankunda adds that all media briefings about the return of Gen Aronda’s body will take place at Kololo airstrip.
Meanwhile, scores of people continue to flock the home of the late Nyakairima in Buziga, a Kampala suburb to commiserate with his family.
A number of senior government officials including the Prime Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda, Security Minister Mary Karooro Okurut, the chief of Defence Forces Gen Katumba Wamala, Gen. Salim Saleh and other opposition politicians such as Betty Kamya among others.
