The parliamentary committee on commissions, statutory Authorities and state enterprises has pinned the formers heads Uganda National Roads Authority for forging contract documents in a 138 billion shillings contract

According to the auditor general’s report of 2013/14 there was variation on the dates of signing and awarding contracts meant for the construction of Vurra-Arua-Koboko-Araba road.

While meeting the old team headed by Eng.Kimeze ssebuga , members get suspicious  of possible foul play , and thus directing the current  UNRA to submit the contract documents for scrutiny.

The chairperson of this committee Abdul katuntu said that the contract in question must be subjected to legal audit.
