Hundreds of mourners have gathered at Kibuli mosque for special prayers in honor of former Electoral Commission boss Hajji Aziz Kasujja.
Hajj Kasujja suffered a heart attack last evening while attending a meeting at Broadway School in Kawempe and was later pronounced dead upon admission at Platinum Hospital.
In the president’s speech delivered by Hajji Musa Kigongo, the NRM Deputy National Chairman, he described the late Kasujja as hard working and trust worthy, adding that his death is a big blow to the country.
The president has contributed Shs20 million towards the burial arrangements.
The deceased’s body has now been transported to Mbulire in Masaka District where he will be buried at 4:00 pm.
