African leaders have been faulted for continuously not spending enough on health.
Speaking to KFM, former Botswana president Festus Mogae has noted that some expenditure on defence is not justified.
Mogae says some countries have got very expensive armies that consume the lion’s share of the national budget, crippling campaigns like the fight against HIV/Aids.
Mogae who leads a group of former African leaders as chairman of the champions for an HIV-Free generation, is in the country for various Anti-HIV activities.
