The police fire brigade has finally put out the fire that gutted a makeshift workshop at Kubbiri near Mulago in Kampala.
The fire broke out this morning destroying some furniture stores before the fire brigade was called in.
The Chief Fire Officer Joseph Mugisa says the fire was not very serious, though he advises owners of such makeshift structures to always be vigilant.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, and the the police say they are investigating.
KFM also spoke to Hassan Kihanda, the Deputy Chief Fire officer at the scene who said this is the fifth fire they were called to put out in just one night.
