The Bank of Uganda building situated along Kampala Road remains cordoned off following a fire that broke out this afternoon.
Christine Alupo the Bank of Uganda Director for Communication confirms the incident but says the situation is under control.
She says the cause of the fire is yet to be established.
Alupo however says there have been no injuries and no property is destroyed.
