FDC to move a motion in Parliament to have new taxes revisited

The opposition forum for Democratic change are set to move a motion in Parliament to have the issues of the new taxes imposed on fuel,social media and mobile money  revisited.

Addressing journalists at their offices in Najjanakumbi, the party spokesperson Ibrahim Semujju Nganda says that the taxes on fuel has hiked transport fares and other commodities, a move which should be revised.

He notes that many Ugandans have also come up to protest the new taxes which has also lead to closure of some businesses which if not revisited will collapse the economy completely.

He says that the leader of opposition and her team are drafting a paper to present before Parliament
