The opposition Forum for the Democratic Change party today starts the nomination of its candidates for the forthcoming East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) elections.

According to the party president, Patrick Amuriat says the 2-day nomination exercise is closed to members of the 11th parliament and those occupying local council jobs.

He says the FDC primaries for the EALA race are to be held on February 8th, 2022.
