Tension is high at Makerere University following the disqualification of some candidates from the guild race.
Five candidates including Andrew Muhinya from the FDC were disqualified for having retakes and indiscipline record.
The spokesperson of university electoral commission Micheal Opoya says they will hold an urgent meeting with the police and the dean of students to discuss the matter.
Opoya however says campaigns will continue today at Mary Stuart Hall despite the security threats.
