By Damali Mukhaye:

Forum for Democratic Change Lord Councilors led by Nakawa one councilor Alice Amony have attacked the minister for Kampala Betty Kamya over her plans to take a section their leaders to Kyankwanzi.

Kamya was recently quoted in the media as saying that she would take a section of councilors to Kyankwanzi to meet the president of Uganda and discuss some of the issues affecting them including the KCCA budget.

However, the councilors are asking Kamya not to waste tax payers’ money on the trip that will yield no fruit.

Addressing the media at city hall in Kampala Amony said they do do not need to go to Kyankwazi to have their grievances addressed since the issues affecting the people of Kampala are in Kampala.
