By Damali Mukhaye:

The body of the fallen Rotary International president-elect, Sam Owori is expected to be flown into the country today.

Owori died last Thursday in the US due to complications he suffered after he had an operation on the leg.

The government has promised to accord Owori an official burial for his contribution to the country.

Prof Charles Olweny, who was appointed the family’s spokesperson, earlier told journalists that there will be a Rotary day at Lugogo Indoor Stadium by Rotarians to honor him tomorrow.

On Wednesday the body will be taken to Parliament for the House to pay tribute to him and later to the deceased’s his family home in Munyonyo, Kampala.

Burial is slated for July 29th in Kidera village, Tororo district.
